Our goal is to show our guests the various ecosystems and cultures that define the region in a relatively short period of time. Though fishing is a primary part of our trips, we also offer side excursions to areas of interest, such as Amazonian cattle ranches and local Indian Villages.

Due to the inaccessibility of Brazil's vast interior, this land of plenty has been overlooked by tourists for years. After having lived in the interior and experiencing daily the wonder of the region the owners of Brazilian Adventure Travel formulated a plan to bring Americans to the area so that they too, could experience this lost treasure.

Castillo

Colonial ranch not far from Punta del Este.

The main activity for our guests is related to horse riding. Our horses have been specially selected for their tameness.

From the heights of the hills, you can appreciate glorious all-around views of its green valleys contrasting with the immensity of its hills and the blue of the ocean in the horizon. Due to its excellent access and good location our visitors dispose of a wide range of services and points of interest in the nearby. The fact of being situated off Piri?polis and half an hour from Punta del Este, provides a combination of tranquility and entertainment.

Chad - Ecolodge & Research

Resident Naturalist volunteers at National University of Chad Ecolodge and Research Station have the opportunity to advance their training in the fields of tropical ecology, natural history, environmental education, sustainability, conservation, Chadian culture and French. Resident Naturalists facilitate academic programs and itineraries for student groups and eco-tourists of all ages and educational backgrounds.

This is a high-energy position, where volunteers spend days and evenings learning and teaching in a socially and environmentally unique atmosphere at the base of the magnificent Cloud Forest.

Aside from logistical and teaching responsibilities, Resident Naturalists are required to develop an individual project while at the Station.

Estancia Alice

 The adventure starts . at the antique sheep shearing shed where the walking tour begins through trekking
... paths that lead to the lagoon Laguna de los Pjaros and the lake Lago Argentino. The expedition to our nature reserve includes birdwatching of over 40 migrating species
..which visit us from the beginning of Spring and which often nest in the reserve by the lagoon. The tour continues to the ancient Indian camping ground where archeologists
..from the University of La Plata have been excavating and studying their culture.

.It is hard to imagine this trip without watching our Kelpie dogs mustering the flock from their pastures to the shearing shed. There you will see how sheep are shorn and how wool is baled.
The tour ends with a delicious patagonic lamb barbecue, fresh salads and homemade desserts at our cozy restaurant with a magnificent view over the "Lago Argentino" and the "Cordillera de Los Andes".

Estancia Cristina

A beautiful setting near El Calfate. Glacial lakes,ice climbing and open range horseback riding are all nearby. Bask in luxury after a day in the rough outdoors. Patagonian cuisine is delicious - beef, spit roasted lamb and game.

Estancia Despedida

The world's best trout fly fishing in Tierra del Fuego. In ESTANCIA DESPEDIDA the guest will feel as at home, recreating the atmosphere they are looking for. We suggest the possibility of programming their stay advised by the Larminat family and counting with moments of leisure and activities according to each ones will, weather and type of stay chosen.

- TREKKING to appreciate the mountains in all its extension going through forests and traveling the ?filo? (edge) that protects the buildings of the estancia from the strong winds.

- Four wheel drive visits to different paddocks of the farm that offer different sceneries with bird watching and beavers dams and of course plenty of guanacos.

- For special groups there are horse trips being necessary an advanced level of HORSE RIDING.

Estancia La Isabella

A working estancia on the northern Pampas. You are invited to take part in the cattle raising experience with the Guachos.
La Isabella is a fully working Argentine Estancia (ranch), that offers you a unique and wonderful insight into the country life of Argentina. It is about 10 km long by 5 km wide and is home to around 5000 cows, bulls and calves (born between August and September). Additionally, it has fields of corn, sunflower, soy and wheat.

La Isabella maintains a traditional Estancia structure with a mayordomo (a gaucho in charge of administering the Estancia) and numerous gauchos under him responsible for the management of all livestock. It is one of the few places where you can witness gauchos working in the same way as they have for over 100 years and experience for yourself their gentle and proud nature.

As a guest you are more than a mere spectator. You have the opportunity to partake in the daily work on the Estancia - be it herding cattle with the gauchos or working in the coral

Estancia San Gara
