Adventures Within Reach
Cruising the Galapagos Islands is a very special and unique experience. As you hike the island trails you'll admire blue footed boobies and giant tortoises in addition to other mysterious creatures like the armies of marine iguanas, flightless cormorants, equatorial penguins, and numerous other species that are endemic to this remote island paradise. The rich marine life is fascinating for those who enjoy snorkeling in a world as wonderful as the one above the water's surface, rich with colorful schools of fish, manta rays, sea turtles, hammer head sharks, whale sharks and magnificent reefs.

Adventures Within Reach
Adventures Within Reach takes climbers up Kilimanjaro every day of the year. We can accommodate any of the routes.
Kili Summit
"Your guides were simply the best. We took the Machame Route and had a marvelous climb. All four of us made the summit with the help of your guides, cooks and porters. We could not have done it so easily without that support."
Mount Kilimanjaro is located three degrees south of the equator in Northeastern Tanzania. It is the tallest mountain in Africa and is the highest free-standing mountain in the world. This immense mountain is made up of three volcanoes: Shira, Mawenzi, and our goal, Kibo, the tallest one in the middle.
Of the famous highest seven peaks in the world, this is the easiest to get to and the easiest to climb. It requires no technical climbing experience, and any moderately fit person can summit the mountain. A local guide is required to hike Kilimanjaro. Porters will also go on the trip to carry your luggage, food, and other equipment. You will only have to carry a day pack with your daily essentials. -
Adventures Within Reach
This itinerary starts in Lima, then on to Cusco for two full days of exploring the culture and history of Cusco while acclimatizing to the high mountain elevation. Then, on to Sacred Valley to begin trekking along ancient Inca trails where the road heads past highland plateaus with views of the snow-capped peaks of the Cordillera Vilcabamba. The trail slowly ascends to a camp below Mt. Salkantay and over a high pass on a back-country trail, rocky in places, until it joins the famed Inca Trail leading to Machu Picchu. The support crew of pack animals is exchanged for porters who carry gear for the remainder of the trek. This obscure trail through cloud forests and Intipata, arrives at Machu Picchu where there is ample time to explore before returning to Lima via Cusco. This itinerary is an exciting adventure of modern Peruvian culture, spectacular mountains and ancient Incan ruins not to be missed.

Africa Trails
This trip is in both Malawi and Mozambique.
Few know that Mozambique has a second coast hidden away in one of the "Bermuda Triangles" of Africa, where the forested rim of the African Rift Valley rises out of the blue waters of Lago Niassa (also known as Lake Malawi and the ninth-largest lake in the world).
Leopard, elephant and wild dog roam the hills, while the lake waters teem with hundreds of species of tropical fish.
A waterborne safari that hops up the east coast of Lake Malawi, from Cape Maclear in the south to Likoma Island 250km to the north, is the only means of venturing into this lost world. With two versions of safari to choose from, there is something for everyone. -
Aguas Diamantina
