The rich marine life is fascinating for those who enjoy snorkeling in a world as wonderful as the one above the water's surface, rich with colorful schools of fish, manta rays, sea turtles, hammer head sharks, whale sharks and magnificent reefs.

Almond

Ecolodges under the jungle canopy on an isolated Caribbean beach.Hotel is lifted on stilts. This type of architecture has been used in the Caribbean for a long time, brought by the Afro-American and Jamaican immigrants. All of Almonds and Corals hotel is connected by wooden trails that are slightly lifted from the ground. At night the trails are illuminated by torches and the sound of the Caribbean rainforest becomes mesmerizing, giving you the sense of walking through a tropical paradise.

Mountain,Desert and Pacific Ocean adventures all come together in Baja.Typical Day - Hike the Sierra de la Laguna, Casa Natalia    We start with a scenic drive to the mission settlement of Santiago for a tour of this sleepy Hiking village oasis, then hike into the remote Sierra De la Laguna Mountains, a rugged wilderness rising from the Baja desert. We travel trails used by Indians for hundreds of years, hiking through wild canyons to secluded waterfalls and spring fed pools where we swim among incredible rock formations.

Beira

Beira is the hot and humid capital of the Sofala province - a mountainous and high-lying region which was made famous in the 1960s by the spectacular lion viewing at Gorongoza National Park. These days the lions are few but it is still an excellent destination for birds and scenery. The city of Beira is a large port and a bustling place with old buildings, cosmopolitan cafes, restaurants and excellent beaches. You will also find some of the largest luscious prawns in the country. Don't miss the interesting city of Quelimane or the Parque Nacional da Gorongoza.
